Specialist Accounts

Scope of Work:

  • Managing the team of 4 to 6 Staff Accountants/Jr. Staff Accountant.
  • Operate, support and review the day-to-day accounting operations and processes for designated clients.
  • Review month-end reconciliations, schedules as per the standard accounting practices. Prepare month end review notes and analytical report as per requirement.
  • Scrutinize the general ledger, prepare tax returns, assist with audit preparations, and perform other accounting duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor and designated clients on their respective daily functions.
  • Regular communication with the client through email.
  • Resolve routine Queries of team members in a timely manner.
  • Provide regular training to new/existing team members as and when required.
  • Understanding business requirement of client and update/create the SOP document as and when required.
  • Review time sheet and work submitted by staff or junior staff accountant.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
  • Support to reporting manager for MIS reporting.
  • Perform duties as per defined KRAs.

Competence Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Graduate in Commerce / Post-Graduate in commerce / Inter CA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in F&A Outsourcing industry into Small or Medium sized Accounting.
  • Flexible with the shift timings.
  • Decent working experience on US Accounting software R365 and experience with any of the leading accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Xero will be added advantage.
  • Well versed with MS Office, mainly MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized. One should possess good team management skills.
  • Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.

IJP Criteria

  • A minimum of one year’s continuous employment with the organization is mandatory.
  • Employee must have received “Met Expectation” & above rating in last appraisal.
  • Employees who have been promoted in the past year through an appraisal IJP are ineligible to reapply through IJP.
  • Employees may apply for roles that are one level higher than their current position only.
  • Employees must not be on a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) or have received any formal warnings from HR.
  • Employees selected through the IJP process must commit to a minimum tenure of 12 months in the new role and will not be eligible to apply for another IJP or role change during this commitment period.
