A. Scope of Work
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues.
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
- Advanced Systems Administration experience, including Windows, Hyper-V/VMware, Active Directory, backup/recovery.
- Advanced Networking experience, including VLANs, routing, VPNs, controller-based wireless networks, QoS optimization, network security, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with IT security and best practices in regard to modern Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V, firewall configurations, ransomware prevention and removal.
- Experience with supporting MSSQL and MySQL databases, including installation, configuration, maintenance, performance tuning, and backup/recovery.
- Proven ability to draw upon all experience listed above to perform root cause analysis of IT issues that span OS and application software, multiple areas of infrastructure, and user interaction.
- Plan, document and review the technical solution documents for any major changes in the environments.
- End-user support via phone/e-mail /tickets
- Administering/managing Antivirus/ Antispam policies, Directory synchronization issues, etc.
- Backup/recovery of Windows Servers
- Designing, implementing Active Directory & messaging solutions on Microsoft Technology, providing support/handling escalations and integrating various products & troubleshooting on Windows platform.
- Microsoft IIS administration and configuration
B. Competence Requirements
- Can work independent.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Should have Good Problem Solving and Analytical Skills.
- Preferable if MCP or MCITP Certified
- Independent, mature, with initiative and pro-active
- Well conversant in Oral and Written English Conversation.
- Eligibility: B.E. IT, MCA, MSC IT more preferable
- Experience: 4 years of minimum experience required
